We are very proud and extremely excited to finally release the Hindsight engine for the NG Series. We can definitely say that we took the NG Series as far as it possibly could and the result is truly special.

Unlike the previous bolt systems this engine is a true upgrade. What but what makes this engine so special?  

First let’s do a little history lesson. The previous bolt systems had major issues; starting with concentricity between the bolt and ram. This led to seal leaks and bolt stick. The shut off or refill valve was never redesigned which led to major first shot drop off. The 2 internal 010 seals share 2 different pressures which if not concentric to the bolt and ram will cause all these issues to arise and of course leaks. This is not even getting into the front bolt bumper and the design of the volume chamber mating with the ram housing. This caused the bolt to slam against the shaft which would loosen the shaft and then of course cause yet another leak. No real solutions were ever produced making things worse as the markers were in use.

What has been produced now is truly a new and innovative product. The entire engine has been redesigned and reimagined. From the bolt and ram shaft being completely concentric to one another to the volume chamber mating with the ram housing; every part on this engine and been redesigned. Creating an engine that is extremely durable and consistent. We have substantially slowed the bolt speed to increase smoothness while not sacrificing on efficiency. We have re-plumbed the ram housing giving 5% move volume providing an increase in FPS and drop in operating pressure. See below for details.

We want to thank the community for their patience during this release however we did not want to start producing a previous failed product. You know what they say: Hindsight is always 2020.

Onslaught Owners: This engine will fit however back caps are not back from our machine shop yet. If you purchase it will work but part of the engine will be exposed until Onslaught caps arrive.

• New Bolt & Ram- Redesigning the bolt and ram to ensure they are completely concentric to each other
• New Volume Chamber- The new volume chamber now features the male threads instead of female. You will notice a small line of threads at the lower end of the engine. This may look like it is not screwed in however this is purposeful. The internals of the markers are getting pounded with every shot. This assists them in dealing with that stress and assists in providing the most air chamber and strength possible.
• New Ram Housing- We have overhauled the plumbing of the ram housing resulting in 5% more volume and changed the internal seal resulting in a more consistent seal. This housing now features female threading providing additional strength to internal components. This also yields 10% drop in operating pressure and 15 FPS faster.
• New Refill Plug or Shut Off- New design has been elongated to soften return cycle and uses our special U-cup seals to eliminate first shot drop off and keeps the air forward on the ram shaft. Not all U-cup seals are made the same. Ours are designed specifically for this purpose.
• New Back Block- Back block now features a simple rear bumper also new esthetic design
• New Pillow Tip- Softer and longer for better contact to the ball
• Bumpers- Redesigned all the bumper and bumper locations. No need for the front volume chamber bumper and now includes a much better forward bumper and newly designed reverse bumper. This should keep parts from unscrewing and coming apart
